In a recent live performance in Singapore, popular artist Taylor Swift humorously commented on how the city’s humidity has affected her hair. The artist, known for her engaging stage presence and witty remarks, had the crowd in stitches as she addressed the “return to factory settings” of her hair due to the local weather conditions.
During her concert at the National Stadium in Singapore, Taylor Swift, the hitmaker behind ‘Love Story’, didn’t hold back in making light of the weather’s effect on her hairstyle. She playfully explained to her audience, “As you can see, my hair has returned to its factory settings, thanks to the humidity here. I’m not complaining, I like it.”
Swift, who is currently on her ‘Eras Tour’, was performing her second of six shows at the massive venue. The concert was attended by a crowd of 55,000 fans, who despite the humid conditions, were more than enthusiastic in their response.
Swift’s fans, also known as ‘Swifties’, were seen dancing and taking pictures all night, completely unfazed by the humidity. The artist commended their spirit, stating, “But, I do want to commend you because it’s very humid and you guys have just turned it up 100% all night.”
She even went on to jokingly question why she was the only one sweating while her fans looked flawless. Swift’s candidness and humor, combined with her powerhouse performance, made the night unforgettable for the fans in attendance.
Aside from her commentary on the weather and her hair, Swift also had a surprise reveal for her fans. While at her piano, she announced the fourth and final version of her upcoming 11th studio album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department‘, set for release on April 19.

In an Instagram post, she shared the bonus track for this edition titled ‘The Black Dog’ along with previously unseen artwork of her running her hands through her hair.

This announcement comes after Swift revealed the third special edition of her album with a bonus track ‘The Albatross’ during her performance in Sydney on February 23. The second version, featuring another bonus track ‘The Bolter’, was revealed during her Melbourne show on February 16. Each version of the album has been eagerly anticipated by her fans, making the upcoming release all the more exciting.
Swift first announced her upcoming album during her acceptance speech at the 2024 Grammy Awards when she won the best pop vocal album for her 2022 album ‘Midnights‘. The first edition of this highly anticipated release features a bonus track named ‘The Manuscript’, hyping up Swift’s fans for what’s to come.
