Shiri Bibas demands ultimatum for Hamas from President Biden

PUBLISHED: April 7, 2024 at 7:37 am

Maurice Shnaider, the uncle of the kidnapped Israeli mother, Shiri Bibas, has voiced a desperate plea to the US President, Biden. He demands an immediate ultimatum to be given to Hamas, the terrorist organization that is believed to be responsible for the kidnapping. He strongly insists, “Act, or face the consequences.”

Shiri Bibas, a loving mother of two redhead toddlers, was forcefully taken from her home on the 7th of October by the terrorist organization, Hamas. The entire incident was caught on camera, and the distressing footage showcases Shiri trying to hold on to her boys, Ariel, 4, and Kfir, 1, while being led away by the terrorists. Little did anyone know that Kfir would be celebrating his first birthday in captivity.

Haunted by the harrowing visuals of his niece’s abduction, Maurice Shnaider, a 67-year-old man, has been tirelessly advocating for their release. He has been actively participating in rallies and meeting UN officials, all in the hope of securing the release of his loved ones.

Frustrated by the delay in the hostage negotiations, Shnaider is now urging President Biden to intervene directly. He believes that a stern ultimatum from the President to Hamas could potentially expedite the release of the hostages.

Following the kidnapping of Shiri and her children, the Bibas family had to endure another devastating blow. Yarden Bibas, Shiri’s husband, was forced to appear in a Hamas propaganda video, where he claimed that his wife and children were killed in an Israeli airstrike.

Shnaider and his family aren’t alone in their plea for the release of the hostages. There is a global demand for the release of the 134 hostages in Gaza, which includes five Americans believed to still be alive.

Despite the global outcry, the families of the hostages feel a lack of urgency from the authorities. They are tired of listening to hollow words of sympathy from politicians and UN heads.

According to Shnaider, the most excruciating part of this ordeal is the uncertainty. The families have no information about the hostages and the fate of the young boys.

Kfir’s first birthday was marked with global support. Rallies were held around the world, with supporters lighting candles and cutting cakes in solidarity. However, the birthday boy was nowhere to be seen.

Shnaider, who attended one such demonstration in Central Park, was moved to tears. He stated, “Thousands came out with cake and balloons, but where’s the birthday boy? He’s learning to walk on dirt in Hamas tunnels.”

The uncertainty of the situation is not only affecting the adults. Ariel and Kfir’s young cousins constantly ask when they’ll be coming back, leaving the adults at a loss for words.

This heart-wrenching story has been widely shared on various social media platforms, leading to an outpouring of support for the Bibas family and a growing demand for action against Hamas.

Haunted by the continuous delay in the release of the hostages, Shnaider’s plea to President Biden is clear and firm, “Do something, or else.” He hopes that a stern ultimatum from the United States could finally bring about a change in the situation.

Maurice Shnaider, 67, is calling on President Biden to give an ultimatum to the terrorist organization to secure the immediate release of the hostages and warn, “Do something, or else.”
