Shooting at Perry High School in Iowa

At least five people were shot and a child was killed in a school shooting Thursday morning in a small town in Iowa. Police responded to a report of shots fired at Perry High School at 7:37 a.m., before classes began on the first school day after winter break. When officers arrived at the scene less than seven minutes later, they found "multiple" gunshot victims. The suspected shooter was identified as 17-year-old Dylan Butler, a student at the school, Mitch Mortwaite, assistant director of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, said at an afternoon press conference.
