In the late hours of Saturday night, a tragic incident unfolded in Northeast Austin, leaving multiple people injured and one woman dead. The incident involved a stabbing and a subsequent police response to the scene.
The incident began around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday at a residence on Uttimer Lane near East Parmer Lane. According to the Austin Police Department, a distressed man made a 911 call, reporting that he had been stabbed in the stomach and was experiencing significant bleeding. He also informed the authorities that the suspect, armed with a knife, was still inside the residence with a woman.
