Applegate admitted, "I need to buy stock in Cottonelle because I haven’t taken a shower in three weeks." The pain caused by the disease has made it unbearable for her to stand in the shower.
Not only has this affected Applegate's personal hygiene, but it has also impacted her relationship with her daughter, Sadie. Applegate confessed that her smell from not showering has been bothering Sadie.
