According to reports from NBC News, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic incident at Judge Johnny Hardwick's home. Upon arrival, they discovered that the judge had been assaulted, shot, and seriously injured by his son, Khalfani Hardwick. Court documents obtained from AL.com and WSFA revealed that Khalfani stabbed his father multiple times in the face and neck before shooting him in the face.
