Texas woman shoots alleged kidnapper, sheriff’s office says

A woman from Montgomery, Texas, who is 45 years old, made a distress call to the Gillespie County Sheriff's Office, claiming that she had been drugged, abducted, and had shot her alleged perpetrator.
"Her locations were initially uncertain until it was confirmed to be in proximity to a winery located in the 10800 block of East US Highway 290," the Gillespie County Sheriff's Office stated in a press release.
She was able to provide a description of the associated vehicle and the firearm used in the incident.
