On July 10, 2023, Jessica Ross, at full term, went into labor and was admitted to Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, Georgia. The delivery, however, took a tragic turn when the baby's shoulder became caught in the birth canal, a condition known as shoulder dystocia.
