Man Killed His Wife With Hammer in Nashville
A Nashville man was jailed Saturday morning after his missing wife was found buried in DeKalb County.
Joseph Glynn, 70, has been jailed on a charge of criminal homicide in the death of his wife, Jackie Glynn, 76, on New Year's Day, according to Metro Nashville Police. On Friday, her body was exhumed on family property in Smithville, more than an hour and a half southeast of Nashville.
Preliminary police investigation suggests that Joseph hit Jackie on the head with a hammer inside his Green Hills home and buried her in a vehicle the next day. Police say Glynn made a confession.
