One Dead as Massive Tree Collapses into House in Boulder Creek
In a tragic incident that unfolded in Boulder Creek, California, a massive tree collapse took the life of an individual. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, amid a weekend marked by high winds, coastal flooding, and power outages.
According to reports from the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office and the Boulder Creek Fire Department, the tree fell into a residential home on Highway 9 at approximately 3:20 p.m. Two individuals were inside the house at the time of the incident. While one person managed to escape, tragically, a 45-year-old man was trapped inside the home.
