TAMARAC, Fla. – A woman was found shot to death inside her home, falling victim to an unknown assailant. The Broward Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the tragic incident.
Late Friday night, the Broward Sheriff’s Office received a distress call. Upon arrival at the specified address along the 4500 block of Northwest 45th Court, they discovered a woman inside the house, a victim of a fatal gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sheriff’s deputies remained stationed in front of the house located in the Mainlands of Tamarac Lakes through the following evening. The entire perimeter was cordoned off, with patrol cars and crime scene tape marking the area. The home was under complete lockdown, with officers placed both inside and behind the house.
The incident left the residents of this quiet neighborhood in shock. They struggled to make sense of the gruesome occurrence that transpired the night before.
