Beauty Pageants is The Inception of the First “Miss AI” Contest

PUBLISHED: April 16, 2024 at 6:43 pm

The traditional beauty pageant landscape is witnessing an unexpected revolution, an invasion by artificial intelligence. Fanvue, a renowned subscription-based social media hub, is igniting this revolution by introducing the first-ever beauty pageant for AI-generated models, aptly named “Miss AI”.

Fanvue has announced this event as the world’s first beauty contest for AI-generated models. The participants, dubbed as “chatbot babes”, will compete for the crown and a substantial cash prize. This AI beauty pageant isn’t just about looks — it’s about tech and social clout too.

The AI models will be judged on a combination of their aesthetical appeal, technological prowess, and social media popularity. Judges will use a points-based system to evaluate each contestant across these three core categories, with each entrant given an overall score. The AI models must be 100% AI-generated to qualify for the contest, and the creators must be at least 18 years old.

The panel includes human judges such as beauty pageant historian Sally-Ann Fawcett, and AI influencers such as Aitana Lopez and Emily Pellegrini. These judges bring with them a wealth of expertise in the world of beauty pageantry and AI, making them the perfect team to choose the most stunning AI model.

The winning bot will walk away with a whopping $13,000, including a $5,000 check, a $3,000 mentorship scholarship, and $5,000 in public relations support. The second and third runners-up will receive grand totals of $5,000 and $2,000, respectively.

AI models have been making waves in the digital media space. Aitana Lopez, a 25-year-old AI fitness model with a fan base of over 306,000 on Instagram, makes more than $11,000 a month due to her hot posts. Emily Pellegrini, another AI model created by Fanvue, earned an astonishing $10,000 in the first six weeks of her career.

The rise of AI models and influencers has significantly impacted the digital media space. Their large followers, high engagement rates, and rapid growth have attracted the attention of advertisers and marketers alike.

This AI beauty pageant is not an isolated event. It’s part of a larger trend of AI penetrating various sectors. Recently, Spain introduced an AI host, Alba Renai, for a special segment of a popular TV show, showcasing the growing acceptance and integration of AI in mainstream media.

Despite the excitement, some people express concerns about the implications of such events. Critics argue that these developments blur the lines between reality and artificiality and could potentially lead to the devaluation of human talent.
