Machine Gun Kelly has reportedly taken up smoking again subsequent to Megan Fox’s confirmation that their engagement had been dissolved.
Machine Gun Kelly, the renowned “Bloody Valentine” crooner, recently shared a revealing video on his Instagram Story. The clip showcased him and fellow rapper Trippie Redd, both indulging in a smoking session while performing for an enthusiastic crowd in New York City.
“Resumed smoking,” he inscribed the post, hinting at a return to his old habits. He further added, “Life’s been peculiar as of late, but I’m grateful for your support.”
Machine Gun Kelly’s post came just weeks after Megan Fox, his former fiancée, finally let out that they had terminated their engagement. However, Kelly did not clarify what he was smoking in the video, only accompanying his message with a cigarette emoji.
Fox, 37, had been rather elusive about the current status of their on-off relationship, following the end of their engagement.
“What I’ve gathered from being in this relationship is that it’s not meant for public consumption,” the actress stated in the March 20 episode of Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
She further added that she didn’t have any comments to share about the status of their relationship at the moment.
Fox did, however, mention that she will always share a strong bond with MGK, regardless of their relationship status.
“What I can reveal is that he is what I refer to as my ‘twin soul,’ and there will always be an emotional connection with him, irrespective of the circumstances,” she expressed.
Post their breakup, rumors have surfaced that the couple is currently living separately. Fox, known for her role in the “Transformers” series, is reportedly residing in Malibu, California. On the other hand, Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, is believed to be living in their mansion in Encino.
An insider expressed to Us Weekly, “They agreed to this arrangement to give each other some breathing room while still being together. They are in a low phase at the moment, but it changes every day.”
The couple had been dating for nearly two years before they announced their engagement in January 2022. Their relationship was later rocked by breakup rumors when Fox removed traces of Kelly from her Instagram account and unfollowed him.
Fans speculated that Kelly had been unfaithful to Fox with his guitarist Sophie Lloyd. However, Fox took to Instagram to quash these rumors.
“There has been no third-party interference of any sort in this relationship. That includes, but is not limited to…actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons,” she posted.
Despite the tumultuous period, both celebrities seem to be maintaining their spirits. Kelly was spotted in Miami having dinner with his 14-year-old daughter, Casie, seemingly in high spirits.
On the other hand, Fox, who shares three children with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green, also appears to be focusing on her personal life.
