Emily Willis, the adult film actress’s kin, has turned to the world of crowdfunding to help alleviate the burden of her escalating medical costs after her hospitalization due to an apparent overdose.
The Willis family has launched a GoFundMe campaign with the aim to raise funds to cover her hospital stay and recovery costs. So far, the campaign has garnered $13,305, moving towards the goal of $60,000.
Last month, Willis, aged just 25, was rushed to a medical facility in Thousand Oaks, CA. The emergency call was made reporting a possible overdose. The actress was in a renowned celebrity rehab center in Malibu when the unfortunate incident occurred. This indicates that she was being treated for addiction when she was hurried to a hospital and placed in a critical care unit.

Her father has described Emily’s current fight as an “incredibly tough and unforeseen battle” with a long road of recovery ahead, requiring a lot of care. He further stated that all donations would be utilized for her medical bills, besides travel and accommodations for her family so that they can stay with her in the hospital.
