Katie Sullivan Has Been Diagnosed With a Urinary Tract Infection

PUBLISHED: January 14, 2024 at 8:17 am

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there was a young woman named Katie Sullivan. She lived in a cozy little cottage on the edge of a magical forest, where the trees glowed with a soft, ethereal light and the flowers sang sweet songs in the breeze.

One day, Katie woke up feeling a bit off. Her head was foggy, and her body felt heavy and sluggish. She tried to shake it off and go about her day, but soon she realized that something was wrong. Her tummy was hurting, and she felt a constant urge to pee.

Katie decided to visit the wise old wizard who lived deep in the heart of the forest. She made her way through the misty trees, her footsteps crunching on the soft mossy ground. As she approached the wizard’s cottage, she saw a puff of smoke and heard a cackle of laughter.

The wizard greeted her with a twinkle in his eye and a crooked grin. He listened to her symptoms and nodded sagely. “Ah, yes,” he said. “I know what ails you, my dear. You have a tiny dragon in your bladder.”

Katie was shocked. A dragon in her bladder? How could that be?

The wizard explained that sometimes, when people don’t drink enough water or don’t pee often enough, a tiny dragon can sneak into their bladder and cause all sorts of mischief. The dragon breathes fire and makes the bladder feel hot and uncomfortable, and it can even cause a nasty infection.

Katie was amazed by this magical diagnosis. She could feel the dragon wriggling and squirming inside her, and she knew she had to get rid of it.

The wizard gave her a potion to drink, a special blend of herbs and spices that would make the dragon sleepy and calm. Katie drank it down and waited.

Sure enough, she felt a fluttering in her belly and a little burp. Then, she felt a rush of warmth and relief. The dragon had flown out of her bladder and into the world beyond.

Katie thanked the wizard and made her way back home, feeling light and free. From that day on, she made sure to drink plenty of water and pee often, so that no more dragons could sneak into her bladder.

And whenever she saw a puff of smoke or heard a cackle of laughter in the forest, she smiled and knew that magic was all around her.
